I have had my M35 Sport for about 6 months. I chose the Sport model mainly because I preferred the interior styling -- the aluminum trim and the tight leather wrap on the steering wheel. The car is actually fun to drive with its tighter suspension and great handling. The seat bolsters took a few days to get used to, but proved to be a big benefit on my bad back. The seat wraps around my ribcage just enough to provide additional support. The styling is not unique, but still nice.
The car has especially good acceleration, handling, and brakes. Only one minor problem: the engine skips during warm-up period, for a few minutes. After warm-up period, all is OK. The car has good acceleration and power.
Keywords: Fun to drive, Handling, Quality, Comfort
The M is a pleasure to own and drive. You will arrive feeling rested after an eight-hour plus drive. The M has the agility and spirit to negotiate crowded city streets or open highways with ease. Getting there is a breeze with the easy to use navigation system. The wide array of music choices ensures there is always something you want to hear. The cabin is well appointed and extremely comfortable for you and your passengers. The trunk is roomy and easily accessible. Automatic features abound and driving is effortless and fun. The M is a well designed vehicle that stands head and shoulders above its competition. The only flaw I could find on the whole car was the engine oil dipstick, but then I let my local Infiniti dealer worry about that.
Keywords: Fun to drive, Performance, Value, Handling, Power, Exterior Styling
This car is one of the best ever. It's quick, handles well. The quality is surperb -- I have not had a warranty claim on it in 2.5 years. Great looks and styling. I recommend this car to any serious enthusiast.

Best vehicle I ever owned

I leased this vehicle in 2006 and subsequently purchased it at the end of my lease. The car exceeded all of my expectations. The vehicle is not only fun to drive but it's ride, handling, and total experience is like no other vehicle I have ever owned. My wife loves the excellent trunk space and ease of turning and parking. I enjoy the state of the art electronics from the voice command to rear camera and lane changer notification. I have had three neighbors purchase an M after seeing, driving and being a passenger in my car. Lastly Infiniti's value coupled with exceptional styling can not be beat.

Auto is road noisy. GPS difficult to use and not user friendly. GPS voice directions are given by two different people thet make it difficult to understand. Some pronunciation of words are poor. Voice recognition system for phone is extremely poor. and frequently does not work properly. Auto is a gas guzzler. Too many buttons and knobs on dash board with icons not easily understood. Mechanical components satisfactory so far.

Dependable Luxury

I bought my 2006 Infiniti M45 Sport fully loaded in November 2008. I have not had one major mechanical problem. The power of the engine is unbelievable. I love driving this car! The cabin is not as quiet as I would like and the leather seats are showing wrinkles. However, I bought this car because it had a high realiability rating. It has not disappointed.
The car is actually six years old but most people think the car is new. In fact, I receive constant compliments on the styling of the car. Overall, I am very pleased. I plan on keeping the car for at least another four years. It's great having a luxury vehicle you don't have to spend a lot money to maintain and that you can depend on to last a long time. I couldn't be happier.

Had an 03 G35 until I saw the 06M at theauto show. Loved the quality and fit inside. Knew mechanically this would .be a good decision. They wanted my cream-puff G and I wanted this exciting M.
This is my 7th Infiniti. I've previously owned Q45s, I30s, I35s, M35X and now M37X. I never had a problem with any of them!! And I love the new M37. My wife drives it in the Economy Mode and the mpg are greatly improved. I'm a big guy and the car is comfortable (with room behind the drivers seat for a passenger to sit comfortably when I'm driving). It handles superbly, has great power when you want it, and is very stylish. It's just a great car!

I currently need new tires, and have only replaced one so far; however, my M35 still rides very smooth. Sometimes it's like I'm floating or gliding on ice. I love my Infiniti, and would buy another one in a heartbeat. So far, this is my second one, after having an I30! Great car!!!

This is my 3rd Infiniti lease and I have to say it was a great choice so far. I've only had my 2012 M37S for about 3 months and I love it! I previously had a G35 and G37 (both coupes) so I needed to upgrade to something bigger but still somewhat sporty and the M class is exactly that. The 330hp under the hood is insane for this size of a car so I can imagine what the M56 feels like. My wife and I get compliments all the time even when I havent washed the car in a few weeks! :O) Overall great job with this model. If the M treats me like my last to Gs, I will be back to Infiniti again in 3 years. Great work!

I was able to purchase the M35h when it first made it into the US. Since then I have driven it over 22,000 mile and have enjoyed a fuel consumption of 28.9 mpg. This is an extraordinary vehicle; it is a pleasure to be in and performs better than i expected. The better than expected performance relates to the way the electric and gas operations work together in such a seemless fashion, even at high speeds.

Long Term - Issues Begin to Show
October 19, 2011
Keywords: Quality, Fuel Economy, Reliability, features
Rattles and squeaks are beginning to be heard - Car has 70k miles. I am original owner. Dead spot on the steering rack has surfaced - this is an expensive repair. Mileage consistently averages ~ 20 MPG using regular gas - normal driving, no heavy foot on accelerator. Vehicle is garaged and reliability has been very good except for above. I follow owner manual maintenance recommendations although dealer recommends many additional service procedures. Factory GPS is still one of the most user friendly and flexible systems of any vehicle. Backup camera is very useful with tracking indicator and range marks. I would like to see an audible proximity warning to augment the display.

I have owned Nissan's for years. I thought the move up to Infiniti would be even better. To date I've had multiple problems (sunshade; phone system; back up camera; steering wheel squeak, etc). All within 8k miles. My previous Nissan Maxima was far superior. I will keep the car for now but intend to trade it in within the next few years before more goes wrong.

My M35x is simply the best car I have ever owned. It is fun to drive, well built and maintenance free. I had originally leased the vehicle and when the lease was up I started to look for something new. There was nothing out there that even came close to the value of this car, it is a bargain. When you consider all the quality features you get, it is a no brainer.

We currently own our second and third Infinitis and are very pleased with both of them. My M56 is fun to drive and needless to say has all the power I need plus many luxury features that are fun to have. I am still discovering features that it has. We enjoy the satellite radio and ability to download our CDs. Overall it is a great luxury car which I hope to enjoy for years to come.
